FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The Gateway Tour has recently announced it will host the First Annual Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona Pro-Am February 23rd at The Wigwam Golf Resort in Litchfield Park, AZ.
The Pro-Am is open to all amateur golfers at a cost of $300/ person or $1,200/ foursome and the event will provide financial support to Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona. The field is limited to 92 players and all foursomes will be paired with a Gateway Tour pro.
New to The Gateway Tour this year, it's an event the Tour's Executive Director, Charley Yandell, is pleased to bring to the community and one he's confident will make a difference.
"As we continue to grow as a Tour, involvement with such deserving groups like Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona is a natural progression for us and a direction we strive build towards in the future," said Yandell. "We're very pleased to bring this event to the Phoenix area and are confident that with its success, we can assist the efforts of their organization greatly."
The Gateway Tour is currently accepting applications from all interested golfers.
